So would someone like to explain to me how yesterday all major news outlets reported that the attacks in Oslo were carried about Muslim extremist? I heard a reporter say it was because of cartoons of the prophet Mohammad despite that cartoon controversy was in Denmark and not Norway. The reporter went on to say though it could be because Norway is part of NATO. Whatever the motive it was reported that these attacks were the work of Islamic extremists. We all now know that this is not the case and that the attacks were carried out by a white, blond haired blue eyed right wing Christian Norwegian. Basically the opposite of what was reported yesterday. Even more concerning to me is how these attacks have suddenly been downgraded from “terrorism”. Apparently now terrorism is only when they are Islamic extremists. If there was any integrity left in any media outlet there will be retractions, corrections and apologies for the xenophobic way this story has been handled.
