Last night I was just there in bed and I came to the decision that I would learn another language. not just one language but bunch of them! I will just teach myself. Took Spanish in high school and that got me no where so maybe if I taught myself it will work out better right? It will be a lot of hard work but if I focus and do it everyday then I will make moves right? Yeah! So I figured I would start off with Spanish as that would be the most useful to me as its the language I encounter the most outside of English and plus I just want to read a non translated Don Quixote because I dont know which translation is best and cant pick one. So I got all my stuff and I start trying to learn and I remember that I can not pronounce these things. I can not trill Rs. I cant do it! Like Rs on their own are hard enough for me as it is with this ugly Boston accent but now I have to say a bunch of them in a row real fast?? So I am asking should I just give up since I will probably never be able to make that sound? Maybe move on to another language? Is Chinese hard? I can probably make Chinese sounds.
