It’s not often that I break out a camera at social/ family functions. I dont have much interest in taking photos of people smiling at the camera or group photos. I much rather be a fly on the wall and capture real moments. And thats generally my goal, to capture the feeling of whatever environment no matter how mundane. That’s what I enjoy in my own personal hobby of taking photos. It’s kind of hard/ weird to be a fly on the wall when you are part of the group yourself though. I did snap a few photos tonight though and I think they all turned out great and really captured our Christmas Eve.
The rest of my family however are not obnoxious constant artists like myself and snap photos all night of everything with blinding flashes as seen here. One of my favorite of the night, my dad with my two cousins having their pictured taken by several cameras from all angles.
